If there’s one word I hear over and over when couples talk about deciding between vendors, it’s “vibes.”
So I sat down for an episode of Tea with Jainé where we talked all about “vibes” and how they affect couples’ buying decisions, especially for a specific subset of wedding vendors.
In short, couples want to feel like they and their guests are going to be comfortable around you, whether that’s on the wedding day itself or in the lead-up. (And this is why behind-the-scenes content needs to be part of your social media strategy—it gives them a peek at the person behind your artistic work.)
We also talked about logical vs. emotional buyers and why it’s so important for wedding vendors to appeal to both.

WHAT ELSE WE COVERED
- Which vendor types couples are vetting for personality (because it’s not the whole vendor team)
- Why you need to take all buyer types into account when you’re marketing your wedding business
- How to keep your brand consistent as you build a team
