Copy for a DC-based wedding planner’s website, crafted to show clients that yes, they can trust Carmen with every last detail - and why her professional experience backs that up.
Sophisticated yet relatable
Carmen’s first career was as an attorney, but after designing her own wedding, she decided to open a wedding planning business.
We wanted her website to emphasize her education for three reasons: one, it’s relatable to her clients, who tend to be high-achieving, busy professionals. Two, good attorneys and good wedding planners have at least one thing in common: they’re seriously detail-oriented. And three, she can review vendor contracts, which is invaluable.
At the same time, we wanted the copy to come across as warm and personable, never intimidating. Carmen’s clients spend a lot of time with her in the run-up to her wedding, so weaving in her personality helps them see if they’re going to vibe with her.
Website copy, investment guide
“Your wedding should be dreamy. And it should also be fun. But dreamy, fun weddings involve a ton of little details. The kind that you probably don’t want to be bothered with on the happiest day of your life—or for the 12 months leading up to it.”
Evermore Occasions is a wedding planning company based out of Washington D.C. and founded by Carmen, a former attorney. She was investing in a custom website and wanted copy that would get her found in search and tell a story - specifically, why she went from law to event planning, and why that makes her such an asset to her clients.
Working with Andrea was an absolute joy! She has an uncanny ability to capture the essence of your business and translate it into engaging, persuasive web content, without you needing to spend tons of hours in interviews or explaining the industry.
