There are hundreds of Showit website templates for wedding pros online, most of which are aesthetically appealing. But not all templates are created equal.
So I looked at dozens of templates to find 5 of the best.
As someone with over a decade of experience working with websites and SEO, I know you can’t judge a book by its cover. Instead, I looked at the pages that were included, the support that designers provided, and whether the underlying website code follows SEO best practices.
Here are a few of the questions I asked as I was reviewing templates:
Which pages are included?
When you’re buying a Showit website template, you want a wide selection of pages to work with, especially if you’re DIYing. Among other things, I wanted to make sure each template on this list had a blog design, a 404 page, individual portfolio pages, and legal pages (yes, your terms and conditions should look good too).
Along the same lines, I also looked for certain Showit canvases. For example, you can have the most beautiful template in the world, but if there’s no pre-designed canvas for client testimonials, it’s incomplete.
Is there enough space for copy?
Listen, I love the look of a minimalist website as much as anyone. But if you’re looking to take visitors from “just looking” to inquiries in your inbox, your copy plays a major role.
Copy is also important for SEO—pages with fewer than 300 words of text are often labeled “thin” by Google, and they’re less likely to show up in search results. (And while we’re at it, copy is also part of what helps you show up in ChatGPT search results.)
Your Showit website template should have enough space for copy on every page without requiring a ton of editing on your part. If there’s only room for a sentence here and there, you’ll essentially have to redesign the page to fit the right amount of copy.
I’ve taken extra care to check the portfolio pages, as a lot of Showit website templates don’t include much space for text in your portfolio.
Are the headlines correctly tagged?
If you want Google to understand what a page is about – so it can rank your website for the keywords you want – there’s an underlying structure to follow, especially for headlines.
This isn’t something I talk about a lot here, so I’m going to link a blog post from Sara Does SEO about H1 title tags, and how to use them for SEO. (Sara and I have worked together on multiple website projects, and I can promise that whatever she teaches, I’m doing too.)
Back to these templates: I’ve spot-checked each one of them to make sure that they don’t have multiple H1s and that they use correct hierarchy. If a template says it’s SEO-friendly, you should be able to pop your copy in without having to learn a ton more about it.
Is it a good showcase for your work?
One of the reasons that Showit took off as a platform is that it’s easy to design editorial, image-driven templates.
For most wedding vendors, a Showit website template needs to have ample space for images, ideally horizontal and vertical. It’s also ideal when there are canvases designed to showcase video.
Every template on this list is stylish and well-designed, and if these specific ones don’t match your vision, I recommend looking at other templates by these same designers.
Is there good support for DIYers?
While you can hire a designer to customize your Showit website template, part of the appeal is that you can also DIY.
Showit is designed to be a drag-and-drop website platform, but that doesn’t mean you’ll never have any questions. Every template on this list gets you access to a library of tutorials that walk you through how to make it your own.
A few of these templates have more complex canvases (which deliver really cool effects). These may not be as intuitive to edit, so I’ve looked to see if they provide specific guidance for these.
MY 5 FAVORITE SHOWIT WEBSITE TEMPLATES FOR WEDDING PROS
OLIVE TREE
Alex Collier Design x Sara Does SEO
$1000

Alex designed the Olive Tree template in partnership with Sara Dunn of Sara Does SEO, and they were careful to keep in mind the technical aspects of SEO like loading speed and layer order.
Sara’s written extensively about some of the areas where Showit can fall short in terms of SEO, and the template was created to sidestep those limitations.
Candidly, it’s nowhere near as easy as you think to find a Showit website template for wedding pros that is built for SEO and looks really great. This is the exception that proves the rule.
Why I love it:
- If Sara was behind it, I know that everything’s correctly tagged and layered
- An individual gallery page that has plenty of room for text and detail shots
- Two bonus training videos from Sara, one on x and one on which pages will help you rank the highest
- The individual service page has every canvas you need (process, investment, FAQ, portfolio)
What could be better:
- If you want a template that comes with copy prompts, this isn’t the one for you
- The main blog page doesn’t have a bio section or a resources section, so you’d have to copy a canvas from another page
Who I recommend it for:
Anyone who wants to prioritize showing up in Google search results. The image-forward layout works especially well for photographers, but florists, planners, and content creators will also benefit.
Alex has also designed some other category-specific Showit templates for wedding vendors, including Honeysuckle House for wedding venues, and Kindle & Co for DJs.
APEROL SPRITZ
Tonic Site Shop
$1525

If you told me that you need to have a website up and running in under 48 hours, this would be the template I’d choose for you. I don’t think anyone takes drag-and-drop more seriously than Tonic. One of the great things about the Aperol Spritz template is that it also includes licensed fonts from Jen Wagner, so if you don’t have a typography suite of your own, you’re still good to go.
I especially love that they included a dedicated proposal page that you can use to share galleries and pricing with interested couples.
There are also a some unique, beautiful design elements on the homepage. One of my favorites is the side-by-side scrolling portfolio section on the homepage, which still includes space for text to describe your style. Another is the postcard-shaped lead magnet section.
Why I love it:
- The name, first of all (I’m a dedicated Aperol Spritz fan)
- A striking homepage hero that combines images and text
- Option to purchase matching social graphics and services guide in Canva
- Over 30 pages, including 4 gallery types, 2 different about pages, and a resources/education page
- Plenty of built-in animations and effects, like stacking canvases
- Custom monogram kit
What could be better:
- The cost is going to be a dealbreaker for some people (but you can split it up into 6 monthly payments)
- There’s some work to be done on the heading tags here—a quick check found at least 3 H1 tags
- As always, the downside to a Tonic template is that they’re really popular, and you’ll definitely see other wedding vendors using it
- The easiest solution is to check your main competitors to make sure they’re not using the exact same one
Who I recommend it for:
Photographers, videographers, and anyone else who wants an image-driven site with plenty of room for text
Other great Tonic templates for wedding vendors include the ultra-editorial Martini and the classic Negroni.
MAPLE TREE LANE
J. Ashley Innovations
$795

Ever been shopping and said to yourself “where is all the color?” (Hi, it’s me.) Jordan’s the designer for you. Maple Tree Lane pairs whimsical, color-driven visuals with an SEO-friendly design. (She says it’s inspired by Gilmore Girls, but I’ve never watched, so I can’t confirm.)
It also just doesn’t look like that much else on the market. If light and airy is your style, you have tons of options. If you lean more toward dark academia, this is the Showit website template for you.
Why I love it:
- You don’t have to change the fonts—the way she’s paired them is amazing as-is
- It passed my header test with flying colors while still looking chic
- The way images go behind one line of text, then in front of another as you scroll is chef’s kiss
- A mini-bio and picture appears when you click on the hamburger menu
- The services page has everything you need, including a FAQ section and a process section
- How cute are the calls-to-action with the squiggly underline?
- There’s plenty of space for both horizontal and vertical images
What could be better:
- As designed, a few sections may not pass a color contrast check for accessibility (although this may change when you use your brand colors)
- To make this template really work for you, you’ll need at least a few images with a lighter background that you can place text over
- I would have liked to see a little bit more room for text on the portfolio page
Who I recommend it for:
This template was created with florists in mind, but I’d also love to see a live wedding artist or a stationer give it a try.
Jordan has several other great Showit website templates for wedding vendors, including Apres Flights (ideal for elopement photographers or luxury travel agents) and Sweet Spumante (a fun option for service providers who work with wedding pros).
BONNE BAKERIE
Ashley Ferreira Design
$897

Ashley’s Bonne Bakerie template is airy and elevated, with European-inspired flourishes everywhere you look. It was designed with bakeries in mind, but any vendor could easily customize the template to meet their needs.
The About page is especially flexible, with sections for team member bios and a magazine-style quiz for readers to learn more about you. The Portfolio page also does a great job of leading with imagery, but still having plenty of space for SEO-forward copy.
There’s lots of subtle effects throughout the template, but movement is at a minimum, as befits such an elegant design.
Why I love it:
- Plenty of space for copy
- A dedicated FAQ page and a FAQ canvas on the services page
- A thank-you page that appears when you submit an inquiry
- Beautifully structured footer sections
- The small subheadlines are the perfect place to tuck an SEO keyword without having to incorporate it into your main headline (just check the tags)
- The main blog page and the categories all include bio sections as well as places to link resources
What could be better:
- No single-service page
- The footer doesn’t have a designated space for your physical address
- Normally I wouldn’t stress about this, but because the template was designed with bakeries in mind, it’s worth noting
- I prefer not to see social icons in the header—let’s keep the reader on your website as long as possible
Who I recommend it for:
This template is a perfect fit for any wedding vendor who doesn’t need individual service pages. And bakers, of course!
Ashley’s other templates include Florence, which would be ideal for any wedding pro who’s dipping their toes into education or mentorship.
PALMINA
Carrie Hendrix at The Creative Accent
$897

The Palmina template was designed for luxury travel agents or wedding planners, but it could work for any wedding vendor who wants to showcase lots of imagery. To make it even easier, Carrie has used placeholders that tell you what copy should go in each section.
This template has almost 20 different pages. One of my favorites was an Experience page, which can also be used for an individual service. The blog page is also thoughtfully designed, with space to link multiple lead magnets or resources.
If you like all-matching-everything, there’s a full suite of Palmina social media templates, as well as Flodesk email templates.
Why I love it:
- Built-in prompts that make it easy to highlight key phrases in different fonts or colors (this is a gorgeous effect that isn’t intuitive in Showit, and I loved how easy she makes it)
- Dedicated pages for individual destinations
- A canvas that’s designed to show off podcast episodes
- The services page has a mockup that’s perfect for showcasing video
- The contact page has a toggle that allows you to tailor your inquiry form for the different services you offer
- Individual blog pages have a beautiful sidebar with social icons, a mini photo and bio, and space to promote a lead magnet
What could be better:
- The FAQ and some testimonials are styled as a carousel , which requires a bit more advanced Showit editing knowledge (there’s a tutorial to explain this, though)
- I would have loved to see a a little more space for text in the footer to fit in one or two more SEO keywords
Who I recommend it for:
Elopement photographers, destination wedding planners, and luxury travel agents. If your website needs to highlight one or more destinations, this is an ideal template.
Carrie also has other Showit website templates suitable for wedding pros, including Willawood and Castella, which was designed for wedding planners (and has a matching media kit template!).
A note on budget: The Showit website templates in this article were designed for established wedding industry businesses that need lots of pages on their site, so most of them include upwards of 18 page templates. That means they’re also on the upper end of the price range for Showit website templates. I’m working on a second post with my favorite templates that are $500 or less, coming soon!
